What this site collects, and why.

Who we are

Crescentic is an AI product studio based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. For anything on this page, write to hello@crescentic.com.

What you give us directly

The only form on this site is the contact form on /contact. It is hosted by Tally. Whatever you type there (typically your name, email address and a message) is stored by Tally and delivered to our inbox. We use it to reply to you and for nothing else. We do not add you to a mailing list.

Analytics we run

Three tools measure how the site is used. None of them are used for advertising, and we do not sell or share visitor data.

• Google Analytics 4. Pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and which site or search engine sent you here. Sets cookies (_ga and _ga_*) that persist for up to two years so return visits can be recognised.
• Microsoft Clarity. Session recordings and heatmaps: where visitors click, scroll and hesitate. Clarity masks text typed into forms by default. Sets cookies (_clck, _clsk) that persist for up to one year.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics. Page load and performance timings. Cookieless: it stores nothing on your device and does not identify you.

If you are in the EU, UK, EEA or Switzerland

We have no cookie banner, so we do not ask for consent. Instead, when the site detects that you are visiting from the European Union, the United Kingdom, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or Switzerland, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are not loaded at all. No analytics cookies are set and no session is recorded. Only the cookieless Cloudflare measurement runs. Detection uses the country Cloudflare derives from your connection; if it cannot be determined, the tools are not loaded either.

Server logs

The site is served through Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare keeps short-lived request logs (IP address, browser type, requested URL) for security and abuse prevention. We do not use these to identify visitors.

Your choices

• Block or clear cookies in your browser. The site works without them.
• Ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, at hello@crescentic.com. Contact-form submissions are the only data we can tie to a person; analytics data is aggregated and we cannot single out an individual visitor in it.

Changes

If we add a tool or change how one is used, this page is updated and the date at the top moves. There is no separate notification.
